Linkleas Avenue
A project by Christopher Developments
Lindy and Steve had spent years living and raising their family in a large heritage home in the Rockland neighborhood of Victoria. Now, as empty nesters, they were ready to downsize and simplify their lifestyle. With a plan prepared by Zebra Design, Chris was entrusted with the build, and some further design details.
With Lindy being an artist, one of her top priorities was to ensure that their custom-built home included a dedicated space where she could continue to pursue her passion for painting. The new art studio features polished concrete floors and a large work table designed by Chris, utilizing salvaged old-growth timber from a recent demolition.
An eye-catching water feature with a crossing bridge showcases Chris’ multifaceted design skills. From the intricate interior staircase, to the landscape and patio plans, the designer/builder lended his eye for aesthetics. South-facing windows look onto a patio with planted terraced retaining walls, creating the perfect environment for Lindy’s creativity to flourish.
Our clients expectations were clear from the outset: "a high quality, low maintenance home that exudes comfort from the moment one enters the front door"… we're told we delivered on that expectation in spades.
